Pop quiz, hotshot.

There's a bomb in front of you. The bomb is armed and counting down - when it hits zero, the bomb will explode. You don't have the instructions to disarm the bomb, but your partner has the manual in front of them.

Of course, they can't see the bomb. If you want to disarm the bomb you're going to have to describe it to them. What do you do? What do you do?

You keep talking.

That's the premise of VR game Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, which launches on Steam today promising to bring the frenetic joy of bomb defusing to the masses.

I've had the luck of playing Keep Talking at several events and can confirm that many rounds are every bit the equal of a taut Hollywood defusal scene, albeit with an expert that's already sunk three pints and is moving onto his fourth between sputtering instructions at you.

This full release adds few extra features, with the developers adding procedurally generated bombs for endless play and removing the requirement for VR, allowing you to play it without a headset.

For the most fun though, you should play it in virtual reality and experience the spectacle of it up close.

One cool feature is the ability to play the game remotely. Steel Crate Games has freely released the defusal manual and invited people to play it both locally and over their voice over IP platform of choice.

This is a neat feature, and part of me is tempted to dial a friend on a flip-phone and relive the glory days of 24 by defusing a bomb and yelling 'I have no time' over and over.

Forza Street will soon be hitting the roads of your mobile phones, and Xbox has announced that you can pre-register for the game. Interestingly, the game will initially only be available to owners of Samsung phones.

It will eventually be in the App Store for iPhone users but will be starting out on Android first. The reason for Samsung's exclusivity is because Xbox has partnered up with the mobile giant to make this happen.

Forza Street itself will feature several cars to choose from, including legendary muscle rides and modern sports cars among others. You can collect cars as you play which will allow you to not only drive them but also display them in your garage.
First come first swerve.Pre-register for Forza Street on Android today: https://t.co/j1iK8Ybck6 pic.twitter.com/hLNxq1We4I— Xbox (@Xbox) February 12, 2020Car collecting looks like it will be the biggest feature in the game. It could also make the experience quite addictive, as you embrace the glories of your shiny new toys.

You can even snatch up some super retro cars to add to your stash of whips. Like cracking open packs of trading cards, this should be a pretty fun aspect of Forza Street.

There will also be some interesting controls that plan to be streamlined. Everything you do on the road will rely on your timing to pull the trigger.

These styles of controls will make room for the cinematic aesthetic of each race, adding to the drama. It sounds like the controls could be limited as well, hence the reason why timing is so critical.

There's no word however on if certain cars give you an advantage or if they're just for looks. It's a good possibility that it's the former but there could be a special approach to the mobile version of Forza.

One of the more important features that will be included is the lengths of the races you can participate in. You can take in the depth of the campaign, or you can just play in one-minute races so this caters to many different types of mobile racers.

As mentioned, you can pre-register for the game. It will be available on Google Play and the Samsung Galaxy Store and later for the App Store.
Fan of racing games? Now, it's been revealed that the classic map Erangel will also be updated with a visual overhaul and be rebalanced.

This was the 'surprise' that the PUBG Mobile team previously teased when announcing the 1.0 update recently. The changes to Erangel are designed to make the old map feel fresh once more with revamped visuals, new map elements, resource point changes and redesigned buildings.

Specifically, players will find trenches, tree-trunk barriers, abandoned tanks and various bunkers to duck behind for cover. Similarly, the numerous buildings dotted around the map have also been adjusted, which means players will need to relearn their layouts and adjust their strategies accordingly.

Several in-game locations such as Sosnovka Military Base, Mylta Power, Mansion, Prison and Mine Zone will have the loot, gear and other resources found there rebalanced. Players can also expect to find better loot in the more rural areas of Erangel too.

As mentioned, the visuals have been overhauled too with upgraded lighting systems that will apparently give more life to the vegetation, sky and water effects. Models and textures have also been given some love with an Ultra HD function available that will deliver the most realistic look the game can have.
Tom Clancy's Elite Squad review - "Sam Fisher and friends"
For more details on what to expect in the 1.0 update beyond the addition of New Erangel, head over to our recent post.
Alright, if you've read my previous coverage of Nintendo Labo you know I've been a little torn about it. I think it's a great idea, but I also firmly believe it's something I'd buy, build, play with for a day, and then forget. At least I did until Ninty decided to make the Variety Kit compatible with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
