After the 2.0 update which began the process of adding Clans to the title, Wargaming has announced what will be included in the 2.1 update for World of Tanks Blitz.

Update 2.1 brings with it further improvements to Clan support, including the option to directly chat with your clan mates. If you're not yet in a clan, it'll be even easier to find the right one for you with the improved Clan search facility.

World of Tanks Blitz will also feature an option in the main menu for faster access to the external World of Tanks sites that form its community, and missions will now take into account how often you use technologies while in combat, giving you more ways to earn.

In terms of the tanks themselves, a number have had their performances tweaked slightly, though the news update doesn't mention which vehicles are affected. What it does mention is that the British line is to receive an expansion, with the appearance of the FV215b (183).

Will you be grabbing the new British tank? Are the changes to clan support extensive enough? Fire off your thoughts in the comments below.
Thanks for the tip @AlexGol95!

iMonster Classic – Hero Adventure is the latest game from Loongcheer Game, who may remember as the folks who published Idle Defense: Dark Forest last year. Their latest endeavour is a roguelike RPG that previously released for Android devices and is set to launch for iOS on 20th August.

The Android version of iMonster was released into Early Access on Google Play on 24th June this year and has so far racked up a solid 100,000+ downloads. It sees players taking on the role of a monster as you try to save the Devil King from a group of evil humans.

The Vine and the Goat
Sega is apparently going to be launching a new smartphone game called Monster Gear in Japan this May. That title is probably a pretty big giveaway as to what it's all about.

All we know at this stage, thanks to a listing here, is that it will be a "hunting action" game with four-player co-op, and five minute missions.

But, put it this way, it's no secret that Capcom's Monster Hunter games are pretty popular on iOS. So it's not too surprising that Sega might be trying to grab some of that success with Monster Gear.

What I'm saying is that it's quite likely that Monster Gear is pretty similar to Monster Hunter. So, an action-RPG that focuses on battling large monsters to get their loot.

Siliconera goes so far as to suggest it could be considered as "Monster Hunter lite." That's on account of its brief mission time and the possibility of it being played with one hand.

Given that Monster Hunter isn't available on Android, Sega may actually be on to something here if it can fill that void - it may not be Monster Hunter but it may come close.

Expect more details about Monster Gear when it drops in Japan next month. Let's also hope that it heads west too.
Siliconera
